Things you might find interesting; I am a rockstar/pastor’s wife and the head negotiator and biggest fan for our three very spunky boys. I thought my husband was going to be the next Justin Timberlake, or at the very least famous. Instead of becoming a trophy wife I became a Pastor’s wife. It still makes me chuckle.
Between football games, hip-hop dance recitals and work, I enjoy rapping, car karaoke, dancing in grocery store aisles, and generally doing everything in my power to embarrass my kids.
I’ve worked with non-profits, start-ups, and companies both small and large, to provide tools that promote emotional health, respectful communication, awareness around depression and empathy, self-affirmations and self-care, and how to establish healthy boundaries (with others and ourselves).
An Iowa transplant, originally from Tennessee, my southern roots will hopefully make you feel like you’re entering a conversation with a friend. I almost always throw a dance party.
PS: If you need credentials to pitch to your boss, I was previously the Director of Programs and Engagement at House of Hope, studied Communications at Middle Tennessee State University, and am studying for my Masters in Developmental Psychology from Walden University.
